Privacy Notice
On the processing of the personal data of visitors to the baseairlines.hu website and of persons contacting us through the website.
The processing of personal data by BASe Airlines Zrt. in connection with the carriage of passengers and baggage by air is governed by Part 8 (Privacy Statement) of the General Conditions of Carriage. This notice applies to the use of the website and to the forms available on it.

2. Legal background
Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council (General Data Protection Regulation, GDPR), Hungarian Act CXII of 2011 on the Right of Informational Self-Determination and on Freedom of Information (Infotv.), and Hungarian Act CVIII of 2001 on Certain Issues of Electronic Commerce Services and Information Society Services.
3. Data processed and purpose of processing
3.1. Contact and quote request forms

The data entered in the form are received by a program running on the website’s hosting server, forwarded to the recipients by e-mail and, to ensure secure delivery, also recorded on the hosting server in a password-protected storage area inaccessible to unauthorised persons. The recorded messages are deleted automatically after the period stated above. The time the message was sent and the sender’s IP address are stored together with the message in order to filter out abuse (unsolicited, automated messages).
3.2. Operation of the website, logging
When the website is visited, the hosting provider’s server records technical log data (IP address, time, browser type, page visited). Purpose: secure operation of the service and troubleshooting. Legal basis: the legitimate interest of the controller (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR). The retention period of the log data is determined by the hosting provider’s system.
3.3. Cookies and external services
The website does not use statistical, advertising or social media cookies, and it does not load fonts, maps or tracking code from external sources. Fonts and all other content are loaded from the website’s own hosting server. Should audience measurement be introduced in the future, it will take place only with the prior consent of the data subject, and this notice will be amended accordingly.

The controller does not transfer personal data to third countries.
5. Rights of the data subject
The data subject may request access to, rectification or erasure of their personal data, or restriction of its processing, may object to the processing, and may exercise the right to data portability. Consent may be withdrawn at any time; withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before the withdrawal. Requests are received at base@baseairlines.hu or by post (BASe Airlines Zrt., P.O. Box 175, 1675 Budapest, Hungary), and we reply within one month at the latest.
6. Remedies
The data subject may lodge a complaint with the Hungarian National Authority for Data Protection and Freedom of Information (Nemzeti Adatvédelmi és Információszabadság Hatóság, NAIH; Falk Miksa utca 9–11., 1055 Budapest, Hungary; postal address: P.O. 7. Data security
The controller receives personal data over an encrypted (HTTPS) connection, keeps the stored messages in a password-protected storage area that cannot be accessed from a browser, and protects them by appropriate technical and organisational measures against unauthorised access, alteration, transmission, disclosure, erasure or destruction.
8. Amendments to this notice
The controller reserves the right to amend this notice; the version in force at any given time is available on the website.
